Atlantic Coast Communications NJ, Inc. was elected to design, furnish and install infrastructure cabling to connect this metropolitan university campus to the world. This project includes four buildings that comprise the majority of this Center City Philadelphia campus. The project requirements call for extensive conduit systems from the frame to the station. Additionally, there are copper and fiber distribution systems within each of the buildings, satisfying distribution for voice, data, and video requirements. Approximately 8000 Category 5 four pair cables are being installed to approximately 2000 stations. The work schedule commenced in March of 1999 and three buildings are currently complete. The fourth building is currently under construction. This project coincides with the installation of a Fujitsu 9600 PBX. To date, Atlantic Coast Communications is running on schedule and expects to meet the project deadline.
