This medium-security state correctional facility project included 1500 pair of outside plant (underground and aerial) copper backbone distribution cable to serve 57 buildings on this 110-acre campus. All station cables were installed within a new EMT raceway system; there were 40,000+ feet installed as part of this project. Cutover took place as scheduled for this extensive network of telephone sets and special voice services as scheduled for December 18, 1997. This was the second large correctional facility we have completed via a successful partnering with
Fujitsu Business Communication Systems, and the third is under way (see project specifications for the
Chester Correctional Facility).
