Atlantic Coast Communications NJ, Inc. completed a total inside and outside cable plant installation coinciding with installation and cutover of a new Fujitsu PBX at this maximum security facility in central Pennsylvania. The cable plant consisted of direct burial OSP feeder interconnecting approximately 52 buildings on this 100-acre site. Project construction commenced in July of 1996 for
Fujitsu Business Systems as contracted by the Commonwealth of PA. The 100-year-old facility posed a great challenge for our design and installation staff and was completed on time for the scheduled cutover date. Not one utility was interrupted during extensive digging/plowing at this location. Inside plant construction included placement of extensive conduit systems from 1/2” to 4” as required in exceedingly difficult environments.
