Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania – New Patient Tower

Atlantic Coast Communications is responsible for the installation of data cables in the new Patient Tower, a 20 story, 1.3 million square-foot building, consisting of 480 critical care beds and more than 20 diagnostic and intervention rooms. ACC is furnishing and installing new Category 6A data cables and performing accompanying closet terminations and EZ Path fire-rated pathway installation throughout the site. ACC is also providing installation services for CCTV cameras, wireless access points, and overhead speakers. In tandem with our sister company, Intellicom Systems Inc., ACC is furnishing and installing clocks for each patient room and common areas. All work is being completed in coordination with Johnson Controls Inc.

2026 FIFA World Cup Fiber Installation at Lincoln Financial Field

Completed Summer of 2026 - Philadelphia Sports Complex

Atlantic Coast Communications installed over 150,000 feet, with over 4000 total strands, of fiber optic cable at Lincoln Financial Field and the surrounding sports complex to provide proper network connectivity for the temporary infrastructure built for the hosting of six World Cup matches. The installation was completed in an 8-week timeframe. ACC also provided on-site technical support during each match. Upon completion of the tournament, ACC was responsible for the removal and disposal of all temporary fiber optic cables. This work was completed in coordination with contractors HSB and Safari.

Villanova University Maggitti Hall - New Library

Atlantic Coast Communications provided the data installation and overhead paging mass notification system for the new 150,000 square foot, 6 floor structure in the heart of Villanova’s campus. ACC installed roughly 1500 Category 6A data cables, totaling 225,000 feet, and 2,000 feet of Single Mode optical fiber cables for MDF to IDF uplinks throughout the 6 floors. ACC also installed the Bogen overhead paging/mass notification system consisting of 8 dedicated paging zones across the building.

Sheraton Hotel at University City

Atlantic Coast Communications performed the rewire of 327 existing hotel rooms as well as digital upgrades to club lounges, fitness studios, training facilities and back/front of house support spaces. ACC provided new Category 6 cables from designated IDF spaces to each room unit in the building along with new optical risers from the MDF to each of the upper floor IDF spaces. ACC also completed the Access Control systems with a new wireless mesh locking system throughout the building, new composite cables, new power supplies and new head end equipment and wall fields. Finally, ACC re-partitioned the existing Mood Media system to expand beyond the first-floor restaurant to external promenade spaces and the 6th floor amenity/fitness suite.

University of Pennsylvania Museum – COXE Wing Upgrades

Atlantic Coast Communications provided data cabling in the Ancient Egyptian area of the COXE wing to support traditional data input locations including wireless signal paths, CCTV camera paths, and show lighting throughout the space. ACC also provided custom color raceway systems, backboxes and lighting track systems and coordinated field raceway systems with electrical, mechanical, security, and data owners within the space. The museum space is supported by 5 diverse IDF locations throughout the site for which ACC provided new fit-outs and new optical and multipair risers which were routed to each new IDF from the primary base building MDF location.

Delaware County Christian School (DCCS)

Atlantic Coast Communications provided new Wireless Access Point site bollards, in-ground conduit systems and 802.11AC external Wireless Access coverage across their upper and lower campuses. ACC installed roughly 2,600’ of in-ground conduit systems across the campus to support the new wireless access points throughout. ACC also installed site poles with 24” x 5’-0” concrete bases and mounted 12’, 16’ and 20’ utility poles to each concrete base. Additionally, ACC devised custom AP mount brackets for several locations where the traditional AP mount would not be sufficient in proposed installed environment. ACC finished off the site wireless upgrades with specialty AP mounting to the headmaster’s house to cover the lower fields of the upper main campus and to the primary athletic building AP mounts where we built a 2” custom AP mount that cantilevered over the edge of the building to get the best wireless coverage for the athletic fields and track.

Eli Lilly – Office of the Future

Atlantic Coast Communications provided data and audio-visual support for the new “Office of the Future” for Eli Lilly, formerly Avid Radio Pharmaceuticals. ACC provided the Category 6A data install to the 7th floor of their building to support the office of the future metrics which included networked exercise bikes, treadmills and interactive audio-visual spaces. Additionally, ACC provided the installation for the entire audio-visual package which included the fit-out of 37 AV enabled spaces ranging in size from large presentation conference rooms with dual 86-inch flat panel displays down to solitary workspaces with small 32-inch flat panel and input points for BYOD.

FMC Tower

New Construction 48 Story commercial and residential Tower Philadelphia Completion December 2016

FMC Tower is a 49 Story Commercial and Residential office tower in Philadelphia PA. ACC performed this work as part of our contract with Turner Construction. Levels Sub Basement through 26 are for commercial Tenants. Levels 28 and up are an AKA property and feature short and long term furnished and unfurnished living space. ACC installed backbone to accommodate all data and limited analog voice connectivity to 46 IDF locations throughout the site. Additionally we installed all core and shell communications connectivity and interior apartment station wiring for all voice, CATV and data requirements. The building’s façade lighting is Ethernet controlled and is an iconic skyline spectacle. Additionally, ACC installed a Public Radio Repeater system to support public safety radio transmission throughout the site. Work was completed on schedule and to the satisfaction of the GC and owner.

Corporate Headquarters Relocation – King of Prussia, PA Completed October 2016

Direct for Owner –Relocation of Southeastern PA offices -Completed October 2016

Atlantic Coast Communications NJ, Inc. has been Shire’s communication vendor since 2005. We have provided numerous design and build installations for the Chesterbrook, PA offices. The most recent project relocated the operation to Exton, PA. Work at this site included new optical and copper backbone to 4 IDF locations .

Installation of 1100 Category 6 cables and reuse of 500 existing cables. We are in process of adding over 1000 sound masking units throughout this new office site for Shire.

ACC provided all break down and reinstallation of over 550 desktop devices allowing all parties to arrive at the new office site ready to work on day 1.

Dalian - Rodin Square Residential

New Construction Philadelphia – Completed October 2016 –Dalian - Rodin Place is a residential apartment building with ground level retail recently completed in the Art Museum District in Philadelphia. The site has 293 apartments with amenities. ACC completed the installation of all voice, data and CATV within each apartment, feed cable to accommodate all back of house communications and all back of house base building wire for CATV, Voice and data connectivity. ACC was contracted to perform this work by the General Contractor, Intech.

Corning Incorporated Pharmaceutical Glass Manufacturing Facility

University of Pennsylvania New College House Dormitory

New College House, is a dormitory and was constructed on what used to be Hill Field occupying the block between 33 ^rd and 34 ^th Streets on the south side of Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. Work was performed direct for the University, the General Contractor was Intech. ACC relocated approximately 1000 optical fiber strands to relocated duct banks in preparation for the site work to commence for the project. Subsequently, ACC was the awarded the network and communication construction for the project. The work included a build out of an MDF and 10 IDFS. New redundant OSP building feeds were installed to accommodate optical, multi-pair copper and hard line coaxial feed requirements (Data, limited analog voice and balanced CATV distribution respectively). These backbone compliments were duplicated from the MDF out to 10 IDF locations, build-out of all consolidation locations and category 6 station wire to over 1000 points and over 600 coaxial cables feeding all MATV requirements.

ACC also installed a Public Safety Radio Amplification System throughout the facility to enhance radio communications for the University and City of Philadelphia Networks in partnership with RF Design and Integration of Bensalem, PA.

Temple University – Science Education and Research Center

Philadelphia - Labs and Classrooms Completed January 2015

Atlantic Coast Communications performed installation of backbone distribution (Data, Voice and CATV) to 8 IDF locations and category 6 station wiring serving over 2500 station users in this new laboratory at Temple University. Work for the project was performed for the Gordon Group who handled the electrical construction and fit-out. ACC has been a vendor of choice at Temple since 2000. We have been involved with minor and major retrofits and construction projects for the University and Health system including Morgan Hall Dormitory and Dining facility. We continue to support University IT infrastructure needs on a daily basis as demand requires.

Lincoln Financial Field

Panasonic Everest Network Installation at Lincoln Financial Field, Home of the Philadelphia Eagles

Atlantic Coast Communications provided installation materials and labor to integrate Panasonic’s Everest™ Ultra-High Density Wi-Fi system at the 1.7msf Lincoln Financial Field. ACC’s Scope of Work included demolition of existing infrastructure, and installation of 653 Everest access points and the associated 1306 Category 6 data drops, conduit, and secondary steel required to complete the project. The work was performed over a four month period, and was completed in July of 2017. ACC performed directly for Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company.

Compared to traditional Wi-Fi solutions, Panasonic’s Everest solution offers significantly greater performance compared to legacy systems. The Everest system is the first Wi-Fi solution engineered from the ground up to overcome the challenges of serving tens of thousands of fans simultaneously in ultra-high-density sports and entertainment environments. The installation has set records for data transfer at Lincoln Financial Field.

The work included installation of painted rigid conduit to conceal cabling in seating bowl areas. Installation and strategic aiming of all Everest Antennas were performed by ACC staff under guidance provided by Everest engineers. ACC partnered with Superior Scaffolding for all stationary and swing scaffolding required to reach the areas inaccessible from traditional man lift equipment. The work was completed on schedule and within budget, resulting in both Panasonic and the Philadelphia Eagles becoming satisfied customers.
